METER PROGRAM

The source code for both the meter reading program and the web processing files are available at Sourceforge. You are free to modify and distribute these as you wish. You are welcome to synchronize to our subversion repository through Sourceforge and submit any changes you make. Please do due diligence when testing changes. You can submit bug notices through the Tracker part of the Sourceforge project as well. Do note that these are provided AS IS with NO WARRANTY and we are not liable in any way for any damage caused by the use of these files. The charts used on this site are FusionCharts from InfoSoft Global. Below is the free package and most of the functionality used is available in the free package (the most notable exception is the ability to insert the sunrise, local noon, and sunset markers). Below are links for the Parapin library that is used in the meter reading program and for Ubuntu, the distribution of Linux that is currently running on the laptop being used to monitor the meters at the Ypsilanti Food Cooperative. At the bottom is a paper that describes the entire system.
