Project Installations
There are currently four solar installations in Ypsilanti. More about each one can be found below and clicking the installation name will take you to the metering page (if one is available) and more information.

This installation has a single panel and it was installed in 2006. Because this is a bus stop, we are not monitoring the panel output on this website. |
| Adams School | |
|
This is a 10 panel system installed in 2011 on the side the Adams Elementary School. This instllation is capable of producing 2.4 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. |
| Corner Brewery | |
|
144 panels are being installed on the roof of the Corner Brewery. This installation will be capable of producing 18.0 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. |
| River Street Bakery | |
|
30 panels were installed in 2010 on the roof of the River Street Bakery. This installation is capable of producing 6.0 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. |
| Bredernitz Professional Services | |
|
11 panels were installed in 2011 on the roof of a shed and pergola. This installation is capable of producing 2.7 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. |
| Ypsilanti City Hall | |
|
Ypsilanti's City Hall had 12 solar panels installed on its south-facing wall beginning in the fall of 2009. By the end of March 2010, the installation was completed and online monitoring of the output was up and running. This installation is capable of producing 2.5 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. |
| Ypsilanti Food Cooperative | |

The Ypsilanti Food Cooperative has 12 solar panels on its roof capable of producing 2.3 kW of electricity during peak sunlight. This was the first installation that had online monitoring of the panels' output, which has been running since April of 2009. |

The rental house at 403 South Huron has a total of 55 SunPower solar panels. Apartment A has 6 solar panels dedicated to its power usage, apartment B has 9 solar panels, and apartment C has 40 panels. |

| WirelessYpsi Solar Radio | |

This installation has a single panel and was installed in 2011. The panel charges a battery that powers a wireless internet radio giving visitors to Frog Island free wireless internet access. |
| 280 Bellers Court | |
|
The home owner at 280 Bellers Court purchased this solar installation as a kit from Aten solar in late 2008 and installed the system in February of 2009. It produces about 85 KWH of power per month and supplies about 1/3 to 1/2 of the electrical needs of the home. |
